Who won ‘The Golden Bachelorette’ Season 1?

Joan Vassos has completed her search for Mr. Right in the season finale of “The Golden Bachelorette” Season 1 on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
As the first “Golden Bachelorette” lead, she ended up picking Charles “Chock” Chapple as the winner out of a pool of 24 eligible bachelors nationwide
Vassos finally got to say “I love you” to the winner, Chapple.
During the season finale, he along with Guy Gansert were the last two men standing.
Charles “Chock” Chapple is the winner of the first season of “The Golden Bachelorette.”
The 60-year-old is an insurance executive from Wichita, Kan. According to ABC, the business owner is kind and loves adventure. “He has a full life with his kids, his adorable black Lab Super Tubbs, and his work,” ABC says.
However, when Chapple joined the running for the final rose, he felt that he “was missing the one thing he wants most — love.” The self-proclaimed grill master enjoys exercising, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs and shopping for a good sale in his spare time.
Chapple and Vassos didn’t just go home with a love story. They won a trip to return to Disneyland after their very first date, but this time they’re visiting the parks with their families.
ABC has not yet announced the next Golden Bachelor.
The network usually announces the new lead looking for love in the next Bachelor Nation seasons before or during the finale. However, during “The Golden Bachelorette” finale, the time usually given to announcing the new leading man was used to showcase a sneak peak for “The Bachelor” Season 29.
“The Golden Bachelorette” finale will stream on Hulu tomorrow, Nov. 14.
