I used these in my kindergarten classroom
, and my students absolutely loved them!
Due to the age of this set, some of the stampers have dried up.  But, they can easily be reused with a washable ink stamp pad.
This
set is clean and comes from a smoke free home

This
set contains 16 water based, non-toxic markers made by Crayola/Binney & Smith
.  They
wash from skin and most children's clothing
.  The
markers measure 5.375" long
.  The
sets were purchased between 1994-1997
.  The
Original Fun Shapes Set includes the following 8 stampers: turquoise star burst, pink heart, blue green swirl, red lips, orange happy face, blue paw print, purple star, and green foot print
.  The
Nature Shapes Set includes the following 8 stampers: yellow sun, red orange butterfly, dark blue eye, dark red ladybug, dark purple moon, black yin & yang icon, light green 4 leaf clover, and olive green exclamation mark

Stamping is so fun and easy for children with these markers!
These
stampers work best when used on a hard surface
.
Children can create a silly self-portrait by looking into a mirror and stamping a picture of themselves using all the mini stampers.  They can also create their own personalized note paper, with the mini stampers, by stamping different designs around the paper.
They can then write notes to their friends using their own custom designs.
I mainly purchased the mini stampers so I could use them for an academic purpose in my classroom.  I wanted my kindergarten students to be able to use them to work on their patterning skills.  I used them during my Math Centers.  I just supplied children with long strips of paper, so they could create their own patterns and extend them all the way to the end of the strips.
They had a ball doing this exercise!  We then hung them up in the classroom.
I also used them in the area of addition and subtraction.  Again, I used them during my Math Centers, supplying children with sheets of paper, so they could create their own addition and subtraction problems.  For example, a child might stamp a set of 4 moons and 3 hearts and then write the addition sentence 4+3=7 next to it.  Or, a child might stamp 10 butterflies, cross out 5, and then write the subtraction sentence 10-5=5 beside it.
Again, my students loved doing this activity, and we displayed their work in the room.
These markers are rare and very hard to find, especially the set of Crayola Nature Shapes Mini Stampers!  I have only seen 1 of these currently selling online.
This
set would make a wonderful addition to a daycare, preschool, or kindergarten classroom
!  It
would also be great to have in a household with young children
!  I am hoping to find these mini stampers a good home.
