Royal Haeger Standing Lion Statue Textured Sandstone Terra Cotta Art Deco EXC

Stunning Rare Royal Haeger Standing Lion...original 1994 sandstone textured ceramic material, made in USA, that was originally ivory in color. Has original stickers and felted pads, and measuring appx 16'L x 13" H x 6" W. The statue is in super physical condition...see all images. Of the few Haegar lions found, many are ivory colored and due to their age and handling, even if just shelf display, they tend to have superficial scuff marks here and there...as did this...there were only a few and small, but, still, detracted from the awesome presence the lion presents. After much deliberation, I decided to up cycle the lion into the terra cotta finish you see now.
This was all done by hand, maintaining fully the sandstone finish. Done with a very high quality latex scuff resistant paint / primer, stroke by stroke...I am thrilled with the results. I can assure you that this took a great deal of patience as well as time, as a textured sandstone can be harmed if not mindful and attentive when transforming into a new color/finish. The terra cotta true flat finish has a magnificent look and wonderful feel to it. Because I did these myself, I also will send a small amount of touch up paint should you ever need it for any mishap you may have in the future with your lion. ( hopefully you will never need it!) I have included a few "in process" images to reassure you there are not just spray painted...
Found the lions shown as a pair, in ivory originally and now Terra Cotta.... the Buy Now is for One Lion only...Have two available at the time of this listing and Second Lion is selling separately...should you buy both, I will reimburse overage on shipping once mailed as can certainly mail together in one package....both are exactly alike...excellent throughout.
