I was vacationing in Mexico City in the early 2000s, when I came across an elderly woman in the Zocola (MC’s Centro Plaza & Latin America’s largest plaza) selling selections of various
Beatles
figurines. I bought these, brought them home, displayed them on my bookcase and now I’m ready to part with them as part of my downsizing from a home to an apartment.
From my perspective they are in
EXCELLENT
condition; please see my photo to make your own judgement. I actually have no idea what they are made of (look ceramic?), they have a
matte finish
, are
hand-painted
(with an occasional blemish that can use some makeup, touch-up) and are
ultra-rare
(I’ve
never
seen them offered online).
They are 5.25” tall and are
larger
than the more expensive Gartlan Yellow Submarine set (which I also own), and IMHO this unique set is much more attractive.
I cannot believe that any true Beatles fan would not be proud to display this rare collectible.
