Please note that I do refund any overcharge in shipping. I never know what box something goes in so I have to estimate. And since I cant ask for more I have to make sure there is enough. The shipping quote does include insurance and delivery confirmation.I do not
make money on shipping. I have a low breakage ratio because I spend money buying good packing materials.
This set of vintage redware black lions with green rhinestone eyes apparently got into a fight and the leg of the standing lion was broken and reglued. And other than some glaze wear on the feet of the same lion theres no other damage to either of them. There is a mark on the bottom of the standing lion but I cant figure out what it says. I know these were popular in the 1950's -60's. The lion standing is 4.25" tall and 6.5" snout to tail. The lion laying down measures 3.5" tall and is about 7.25" back to front. Still a very nice pair to add to your collection.
Please note that you might have heard that Ebay is now charging sellers a fee/commission on what you pay to ship an item. I have not added to the shipping cost to cover this charge and am absorbing it. The shipping quote does include insurance and delivery confirmation.

All items are stored in a smoke free home! Sometimes family and friends save boxes and packing material for me as I am a nut about recycling. Some of them smoke in their homes. When I bring boxes etc home that have been given to me I store them with my shipping supplies in my garage and hope they will be aired out before I use them. If you are allergic to smoke please let me know and I will make sure a box and packing material is not from those sources. However once it leaves here I have no control over postal employees who smoke while driving around delivering mail.
Please remember that when you are bidding on vintage, antique, secondhand, collectible and estate items- most are not 100% perfect and will show some evidence of age, usage and general wear. I buy what I like and sell them as I find them. I do not attempt to make repairs and rarely even clean them. I try to describe items as honestly and accurately as possible and some things that I see as normal aging, others might see as a flaw or defect. I do not claim to be an expert and don’t always know what to look for when examining an item SO PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH QUESTIONS.
I usually don’t use
UPS
but have no problem doing so if you want it shipped that way.
If I put 2 shipping options in you need to let me know as soon as the auction closes how you want your item shipped. If I don’t hear from you I will use the cheapest option available.
I do combine s/h to save you money if you want to purchase more items.
Payment needs to reach me within 10 business days of your receiving the invoice. Communication is important when buying or selling on Ebay so if I don’t hear from you I will not hesitate to report you as an unpaid buyer with Ebay.
I ship out fast and usually within 24 hours of payment (weekend payments mean your item goes out on Monday).
UPS
includes insurance up to I believe 0.00 on all packages. To defer some costs as well as recycling I use grocery bags with packing peanuts. They work great and help stabilize and item and keep it from moving better than just the packing peanuts. Please recycle all packing materials. There is always someone around who can use them if you just ask. If you do not want loose packing peanuts in your box please let me know and I will bag them. A $.50 handling fee is added to all shipping totals and goes towards delivery confirmation, packing materials, ink, paper to print postage, tape etc. I do not profit from charging a handling fee. For that matter it cost me several hundred dollars out of my pocket for materials last year. If I could afford to absorb the cost I would.
Good Luck bidding!
